I love my Hobie Pro Angler (aka The Other Woman), but I've always wished that it were lighter and less bulky. Hobie has just come out with a lighter and less bulky version of The Other Woman:

Oh, man! I think I need a new boat! Wink

I have been seriously considering getting one lately, I might have to look into this. There any good Hobie dealers around here Phil?

Collinsville Canoe and Kayak is where I'd go.

Pricewise, the Hobie Mirage Pro Angler 14 (aka the original Pro Angler) appears to be the same price as the new Hobie Mirage Pro Angler 12. If the new 12 handles as well or better than the old 14, the only thing that I think I would miss from the old 14 would be its greater storage capacity. I carry A LOT of stuff in The Other Woman.

The best thing you could do is browse the photos on the Hobie website, Joe. I think that the design of the new boat is definitely better, especially the seat and the configuration of the deck, which is a lot cleaner.
