| New guy here from Shelton, used to fish a little when I lived in Bridgeport and I really enjoy it and want to get back into it. I don't have too much experience, primarily only fished for snappers in august-September every year but I haven't had much luck this year and am looking for new locations, tips, experience and would like to start fishing in ponds and streams as well but I don't know too much yet. This forum looks really helpful and supportive so I'm very glad to have found it! Looking forward to it. |

Hi Bica and welcome from another Sheltonite.
TC Marine is a bait and tackle shop on River Rd across from the Citgo station near Sunnyside. Tom & Char are really helpful and can steer you in the right direction for the local fishery.

Welcome. Get some of those valley anglers to guide you around the Housy, especially for holdover stripers below Derby later this year through the early spring!
