Fished Church Pool on the Farmington River this past Sunday. Got on the water at 8 and stayed til 11:30. Used Super Mealies from a nice bait shop a little down the road called Uncle Aaron's Tackle Shack. Started off slow but got my first trout about 30 minutes in. Was a nice 15 inch brown. Unfortunately that was the biggest I would catch all day. Finished with 10 trout on the day, all browns. Mostly in the 12-13 inch range. Good day overall. If you fish around Riverton or Barkhamstead, I would recommend you stop by Uncle Aaron's next time you go. Nice guy who owns it and one of the only places I know that have Super Mealies.
