Hi i live in johnstown pa i was born and raised in torrington ct i moved yo pa 13 years ago been fishing 35 yrs mostly fished the naugy both branches east and west of course the broodstock program starts after i move down here now i fish lake erie tribs for steelhead approx 60 days per year .
I really want to fish for atlantics on my old stomping grounds but all my friends either no longer fish or moved from torrington comin up late oct can anyone help me as to flies rod wt 6 etc or i would really like to fish with someone like me who grew up on the naugy i am really pumped to fish her again especially with the chance to tangle with salmo salar something we do not have in erie need a break from steelhead monotony really; hope to hear from someone soon heck i may even know one of you. thanks norm Laughing

sevnseat i fish mostly spinning gear i thought salmon was fly only really havent checked into it any way i would like to fish with you fellas and yes steelhead fishing sometimes is almost too easy really!!!!!!!!!!my 7 year old son even holds his own for steelys. do you know if any salmon actually make it up to the naugy in downtown torrington??
