Nice! Saw the new boat owner posting from Reynolds Marine. LMK if you want to meet up on the CT in the spring. I'll be out running my new Gemma Rose II as often as possible chasing stripers and pike. Soon as the ice melts ill try and get out there. We could have a small armada of CTFishtalk guys! Congrats!

Will do! Can't wait to get it on the water.

My first boat - Lowes FM165 WT, 75 HP Merc, Minn Kota PD V2, HB 788ciHD. Brought it home in December, early family Christmas present, at least that's how I explained it to my wife........

Very nice! Now you and Wanna Fish have to name your boats. A true fishing vessel must have a name! it also makes it a lot easier to recognize someone on the water. I just got my new vinyl lettering in from DoItYouselfLettering.com. Very quick and easy. We're do you plan to do most of your fishing? I think it would be fun to get a group together on the CT River in April. Anyway, congrats and enjoy!

Hi RNA,

What about the christening ceremony ?

Very important Thumbs Up ........ To do it properly so as to not incur the wrath of the water Gods and bring bad luck to the boat ! Rolling Eyes

I do have to come up with a name for her. Thanks for the lettering tip.

I plan to fish Highland, Bantam and the CT river. A group trip in April sounds like a great idea.

Considering I've working in the prison system for 18 1/2 years and getting ready to retire I believe

Drop Squat & Cough

would be a fitting name!

Just picked up the Gemma Rose II. Rigging up to do some early season pike, striper and saltwater fly fishing.

Nice rigs and hope to see some of you out on the water!

We too bought a new rig(we'll actually a left over) and a bit late at posting the details. Our older Stratos was a good ride, But lacked storage for "all" our gear. So now my son and I only need to load the cooler with food/snacks and drinks for the day on the water. No more hauling gear from the house to the rig before and after the event. Plus its a lot nicer on the eye's than the older strat!
