Somebody recently told me he read on another forum that there was a new state record chain pickerel caught this year. It weighed about 10 pounds. Any word on that?

Someday I'd love to see a beautiful 1 1/2 pound pumpkinseed landed Wink If I'm not mistaken, bluegill and pumpkinseed are 2 of the oldest state records.

Sorry, but 1-1/2lb. pumpkinseed is still just bait to me, or a snack if the toasted kind.

Not a record but I heard someone pulled a 7+ lb large mouth out of Middle Bolton on opening weekend. Any truth to that?
