Looking for a boat launch below Hartford, but above Haddam/Salmon River. Plan on fishing the river tonight without GPS (onboard) and no trolling motor so I would prefer a drift south through Middletown/Portland.

Obviously the cove is an option, but don't they require a pass?

I'm thinking of putting in at Rocky Hill tonight. I don't believe they charge 'til Memorial Day.

Nvm, found it... nice launch for sure... also found some moo-moo's Wink nothing like stripers smashing and crashing topwater in the shallows under the cover of darkness.... this is going to be THE weekend. If you can bear the weather.. GL

Launched there Friday night and Saturday morning. Nice facility except they didn't angle the trailer parking spaces. Don't charge 'til Mem. Day.
