yes i know it sounds silly, but i love using chunked dace for bait, anyone know where there is an abundance of moderate to large dace, i have caught everything from pike, to striper to cats on them

dace are all i seem to pull out of the stream side of eagleville dam this year - go get em!

if im out that way ill grab some, but if you have plans on goin, and you catch any, and ever venture toward middletown... freezem ill take them

The Quinnipiac River above "Red Bridge" is loaded with them also, just throw out a crawler or garden worm and there you have it. Wink

where abouts? know anything near middletown area?

"Red Bridge" is at the very beginning of Hanover Pond in Meriden.
Any spot where the river slows up & in large pools.

In Middletown I have no idea, maybe the Sebethe River or Coginchaug River as well?
