Due to my own personal issues with the management at Oharas Landing on Twin Lakes, I've decided to move this annual tournament to Highland lake in Winsted. I know that by not going to Twin, I'm libel to loose some participation but for me, it's not worth the hassle and stress.
Moving it to Highland will add another type of stress and that is due to the annual drawdown on this lake. This year they are only supposed to lower the lake 3 feet. If that is indeed the case, there will be very little trouble launching. I will hold all checks until just prior to the tournament and keep a close eye on the water level. As you've read in many reports in the past, Highland can offer up some great late season action. As the permit is in for only 20 boats, I would suggest you get your entries in fast.

I am just speaking my opinion but the price to launch goes up every year to lauch. I think it is $12.00 now. The owners a really nasty to tourney guys and I know Jon has had a few issues of his own.
