I just bought some shad swim baits and a package of brush hogs but I have never fished them. What is the best way to rig them?

brush hogs can be fished tons of ways texas tigged with a bullet weight pitched or flipped, rigged on a leadhead jig, used as a trailer on a jig, or c-rigged. every swim bait is different. some have lead heads in them, some have a special way to rig them with a treble hook. i assume that yours are plain with no hooks at all. you can try using a ewg hook or a lunker city lead head
