It's been a while since I've been on the river so I just wanted to check to make sure it is safe to navigate with all this rain we have had.

I'm planning on launching out of haddam meadows this Friday and Saturday.

Thanks!

The river is expected to keep rising through the weekend. Here's a site I go on to check the water levels and other parameters of the rivers in the state.

The river was nasty when i crossed it on wed. looking a lot like choclate milk. The flow was very high, and fishing the river right now would suck. The news reported an expected peak on sat. Stay safe and fish smart.
