Looking to catch some smallies in CT, anyone know of a lake/pond with decent smallie action from shore? I have waders, so I'm slightly less restricted than if i had to just fish from shore.

Eagleville lake in Mansfield/ Coventry. Has smallies and largemouth and alot of access from the eastern shorn plus with waders you could wander out a little bit. Also the river running in and below the dam have smallies and alot of them ive heard

problem with eagleville is the weeds, once the weeds grow in shore fishing sucks there.

Smallies in this Lake for sure. Go to this lake a lot with my wife to chill and do some fishin/tannin. Always something biting there. Got a real good looking and very golden smallie last year and also some nice trout.
