A mid sized tree that grows along a brook not far from me has small fruits that look very much like smaller blackberries and start falling to the ground this time of year. I found it to be a red mulberry tree.

Are the berries from the red mulberry tree edible?

...and you can drink them! Mulberries make nice homemade wine.
