Nice pike! A deer hair streamer?! That's like saying you caught a fish on a plastic lure.
You got a name for the pattern?what was the style
Slider,muddler,clouser,popper,crease fly,sculpin,Single hook?Tandem.. Like PECo asked.Your creation? Or one of Housatonic outfitters?
Bet it was fun battling that baby.

It was a fly tied by my friend Matt, he didn't name it yet...& he wouldn't let me have it.....it was orange ,yellow & white deer hair , tandem hook. caught it on my 8 wt

He created a producer! Make him whip you up a few.I would be up all night making different color patterns.Throw in some rattling eyes,flashabou and you've got a deadly fly that will draw aggression strikes.
Way to go again.There are some BIGGIES in there between Falls village and the Mass border too.

Very nice! That's 1 fish that would really make me get a boat and start fresh water fishing!
