Went by Malone pond today.I saw police and divers EVERYWHERE. Apparently they recieved a tip that Arron Hernandez threw a gun in there that was used in the recient shooting.
Looks like all the mud and weeds were stirred up. THEY WOULDN'T LET ME FISH!!! I'M GOING THERE AT NIGHT WHEN THEY "give up" for the day. Messing up my fishin hole!I'm not too happy about that. They'll never find a gun in the mud that's in there.

I saw that on the news today also, I work just up the road from there! I've fished there after work a few times but no luck.

Maybe you'll snag a .45!

I just saw on the 11:00 pm news that the police plan to search the pond, again, tomorrow.

Heard that as well. They shut off access to the whole thing.I went there this morning in the back section. When i arrived, there was a police car there and the officer said that no one is allowed there until the wrap up their search. If someone shows up.1st time is a warning.2nd time they'll be arrested for interfering with a crime investigation. He took my name and plate number.Looks like if i fish locally,it will be fly-fishing at the Pequabuck river for now. Confused

Stopped by the road side this afternoon and spoke with a local police officer.

The back section is accessible now as long as you keep your distance from the divers.

No trying to snag the BIG ONE! Very Happy
