My buddy took me out on his boat and we headed out montauk. Arrived at around 10AM. We located a pretty big school blues with a couple of sripers and caught about 6 blues each on top. T

Then driffed some live eals but and caught 3 monster blues - 10lbs +. We then chased some small schools and landed 4 more blues on top. Unfortunetly no strippers but catching blues on top on light tackle is always a good time.

We Headed back to Noank at 3:30ish. Pretty smooth ride going home. We get back to the dock and it was a Hickory Shad frenzy. There was Shad getting chased by blues and stripers. I guy pulled in a 35lber and a 20lber striper using a hickory shad head.

We got in on the action, my buddy caught a blue with the head of a shade. I had a monster striper that dove under the dock and got off.

It was a great day off and a fun day fishing.
