I have a 60hp Yamaha four stroke ob; last year when I winterized it I fogged the cyl's (mostly because after alot of years thats what you did to a 2 cycle.) Then I got to thinking (sometimes dangerous) you don't fog the cyl's in your car or truck do you. Any imput before I go out and by a fresh can of fogger? I bought that fuel additive and figured I would just run some of it with the gas thru the ob. cmorjoe

Joe, Yes you should fog it out. All inboards, I/os and even your car or truck if you are going to leave it in storage and in the cold not to be turned over all winter.

i read somewhere that to winterize an efi 4 stroke all that you do is run 2 cycle mix through the engine to ad a coating of oil to the engine. best advice i can give you is read your manual, if you don't have one most are available online.
