Looks like I am good to go, but FWIW,..7am - 2pm is an awfully long time to sit in a yak!

That's great Just4Fun, I changed the time from 7-1 with the food afterwards.

Looks like a possibility of T-storms on Sunday,...I suggest that people get the "Radar Now" app on their phones if they don't already have a good weather app.
It's a free app and gives you a 1-button push to see a weather map in motion of the area,....it's very handy for keeping an eye on approaching storms and I highly recommend it for anyone fishing from a kayak!

im new to the boat thing but i dont wanna paddle >< i use a 40lb trolling motor or is this an all paddle thing. also im not sure if im going.I just wanted to know if u guys allow rafts cuz i may jump on board if not ill go some other time.

I, for one, have no problem with you using a trolling motor. It'll scare all of the big fish away from you. Laughing

CTDAMAGE, I participated in the first kayak tournament with my fiberglass dinghy/trolling motor and was not ostracized too much once I endured, completed, and survived the incredibly painful hazing ritual.

Yeah, I'll be there, rain or shine. The hazing flashbacks have subsided and I think I'm ready to be around kayakers again.

I have a motor.I just drift into my fishing area.I doesn't necessarily mean scaring fish it is more for covering distance.when working areas i pedal.
