Caught 4 months apart, 30 yards difference, same stream.

Most definatly same fish.

Unless you were up at the Salmon River in NY. where most of the trout are that size and bigger! Shocked

Wow thats a beautiful fish but ya it looks the same to me. I cant remember the last time I caught a trout im glad someone is having luck at least.

That just proves that catch and release is awesome even for trout. Most say that trout will just die but there ya go! Handle it well and get it back as soon as possible and maybe youll catch again in another year or 2 more and hopefully it keeps growing!

Pictures a little hard to tell with its patterns but judging the size and where you caught it Im pretty positive its the same guy. Great job on the release. Most important part of catch and release trout fishing is the care with the fish and you definitely did a good job congrats.
