fresh and make sure that slime coat is still on there, if the slime is dripping off ur good to go!

As mentioned. "Slime" is the most important part. Baits without a fresh slime coat will wash out more quickly

Yep, fresh and dripping with blood! And dont toss the heads cause big stripers love head just like you do!

Yes the fresher the better if there is bunker in the area then throw your bunker snagger on real quick snag a few then cut their heads right off and throw them on the hook an let the fun begin! Like FISHFINDER said big stripers love the bunker heads
