Fished the windsor canal with no success there, used a chartreuse chatter bait, pumpkin with black flake senko, and also a football jig with black and blue skirt/w yum dinger craw. Water was still a little muddy but not as much last week.

Also they now have a sign up that says no kayaks in the canal(that wasn't there last year).

I left there and went to thompsonville to see if it was still flooded, the water was still running fast and it was extremely windy. I cast my jig next to the creek to the left of the ramp and caught my first fish of the year a 2.8 lb smallie and got a similar smallie on the next cast, then I lost jig on a snag. Switched to chatter bait and caught a small bass on that and then broke that off as well, went home with the skunk off my back.
