I posted in the wrong section last night so hopefully im in the right place now. Is the boat launch on Point Rd usable? Also is there parking there for a suv and trailer? Im launching my 12 foot stainless boat with a 2.5 outboard. Im usually solo and the boat is super lightweight.

I haven't been there for a while, but when the water is at its normal levels, yes, you could launch a small trailered boat on either side of Point Road. The area looks a little bit sketchy, but I've never had any problems with anyone there.

You'd just have to park along Point Road. It CAN get packed during the day.

They are building a really nice boat launch facility in Glastonbury. You can see it from the river, it is HUGE.
