July 27, 2014: Upper Moodus Kayak/ Canoe Bass Tourney
Time: 7 AM - 2 PM
Check in 6:15 - 6:45
Entry $1.00
Optional Lunker Pool: $10.00
Optional pool for 1st place: the way it works in the first tourney is if you want in you bring some unwrapped fishing lure or tackle and it goes in the pot and the person who wins first place gets the tackle bag.

Trophies for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place on over all length of your five best fish
Catch, Photograph and Release
Canoes and Kayaks allowed and a Dingy (Kira)
Your need a camera (phones okay) and a measuring device that has a horizontal stop. I think that's everything let me know if there are any questions.

Depending on the number we may need to do some car wrangling between launches as there is only parking for 10 and we can any use half the spaces.

I'm not doing food after this one however is someone else wants to try to organize that aspect of it feel free. My feeling was that it was good, but getting a head count and trying to depend on mother nature made it difficult.

If I can convince my kids to go, there will be three of us in one canoe. Will know for sure by mid week. And for the record, I haven't caught five fish in one outing yet so the Vegas odds of me being a contender are not very high. LOL! Thanks for setting this up. Sound like absolute fun.

Okay so things are shaping up for the tourney on July 27, 2014 at Upper Moodus. There is a place to get food right near the launch afterwards. Also thanks to a suggestion from a member I spoke with the town and received permission to park vehicles at the dog park right around the corner. If you have any questions let me know. Also if you are coming DEEP asked that we double up vehicles in the state ramp parking lot.

I don't know how old your kids are, but this is a good group of people and is a kid friendly event. My son who is now 13 has fished three tournaments with me.
