Ok I have been thinking of going there for some time now but where do you launch from? Someplace free is always good but not reasonable. I picked up 2 Jackson's this year and dying to try them out near shore in salt. If it is possible I may join you sounds like fun

I've heard that you could launch a cartopper at Birdseye in Stratford for free, although I've never been there.

There is a launch area for kayaks/ canoes at the end of Court st in Milford @ the Charles Wheeler Wildlife Refuge......used mainly for Duck Hunters it gives you access into the Marsh/ milford point ...just paddle out to the mouth of the river but be aware of the tides
