Got out on the lake for a quick trip tonight. 10mph constant winds made for a tough trip with a few hit and miss bites here and there, but managed to hit a sheltered spot in the cove and landed the one fish for the night. Beautiful 5 lb 2 oz largie that slammed my spinner with authority! The big tail flop and dart to the bottom had me thinking pike, but when I got it closer to the boat it was a nice surprise. Made the whole outing worthwhile for sure!
