Sorry for the late report
Now This was a great day. We planned on a full boat this morning but 2 of our freinds had to drop out so it was Captain Mike and I. We left the dock at 6am searching for Togs. I had a bad feeling that we were going to get the skunk but We hit them. The Togs had a very soft bite. Most of the time you didnt even feel them hit. There wasnt alot but the quality was great. We ended up with 5 Keepers from 4- 10 pounds. Captain Mike hit the 10 pounder. All fish were caught on green crabs in 42 feet of water.
They didnt want to touch the asian crabs today.the surface temp was up to 49 this morning.it was an incoming tide and running very hard. There were very calm seas with a few passing showers.
Its to bad the tog season closed on monday. It looks like they were going to come in strong.
I had trouble linking up the pics so if you follow the links you can see a couple of pics

I've been wondering about your area VS Niantic, for once it's alot closer for me, do you have a good state launch in the area, how about a bait shop near by?

Thanks for sharing with us

We can go fish to fish with almost any area. Most of the time the spots are not crowded like areas near the race and the water is alot calmer.
we have a bunch of good area bait stores and most of them stock fresh local bunker.
The bad thing is the launch sucks. you really need to watch the tides. If you were to come to this area I would suggest the branford launch.
Then drop me an email and I will let you know what spots are holding fish
