I've fished this lake from the shore multiple times with zero luck Sad . Took the kids out yesterday for a "cheap" afternoon of fun and exploring the shoreline without a lot of hope for success Rolling Eyes . NAILED THEM. Very Happy Each kid caught 4 bass each. I caught 2. One on each of their poles, including my daughter's 2ft Tinkerbell pole with lights in the handle. The kids had so much fun we went back today.

There's not a lot of cover at McDonough to bang from the shore. There's more structure than cover. I always think of it as a dropshot/jig kinda lake.
