Hello all,

Wanted to get some suggestions from you all. Quick background, I grew up in the Midwest fishing LMB, northern pike, and Muskie....I have since moved out to CT and am wondering about some good river spots to fish? I live in Manchester, have an older canoe(also don't mind fishing from shore), and prefer to fish using crankbaits, spinners, and various topwaters...so any suggestions about locations with these limitations kept in mind would be greatly appreciated!

Best regards

J

Start with Salmon river, there is a boat launch at the mouth of it where it meets CT River.

I know this is late but Keaney Cove in East Hartford. Salmon River launch and fish the mouth of the salmon river. You can paddle down to Chapman's Cove and fish all that shore line.
