Blues are out there, big, and moving with bait. This weekend I ran into a monster blitz off of Saybrook Saturday evening, slept for a few hours Sat. night, and was back out further east Sunday am looking for albies. After a few spots drew blanks, I loaded the boat, made a move and dropped again west. I'm not much for the sit, soak and hope method. Same thing surf casting. I'll take my rod, surf bag and binoculars and cover several locations. This is where a journal/log comes in handy, as it helps to pattern season after season, and increase the chances of almost always finding fish. NOW is the time if you at all fish in the salt, and should remain good for another month or so. Tight Lines!

Rapala Skitter Walk Michael. Lots of peanut bunker and I like watching the topwater explosions.

NWDarkCloud (aka Bob) and I boated about three dozen, today, and lost many more. My boat smells like bluefish puke, now:

Awesome vid RNA! Music goes with the attitude of the Yellow-Eyed Devil!

Phil,

Bluefish feed so heavily that they start puking once you land them. Kinda like jigging for jumbo yellows at Candlewood in February.
