Over the last two days, I've been fishing in Hamburg Cove, the Connecticut Yankee Atomic Power Plant canal and Amos Lake. The water temp at Hamburg Cove was 55 degrees. At the power plant canal, it was in the mid to upper 40s. At Amos, it was between 53 and 54 degrees.

The largemouth bass bite is definitely picking up.

The water temperature at Amos Lake on Sunday got as high as 58-1/2 degrees. I didn't see any beds, but a buddy swears that he saw some.

Bantam Lake was 55-1/2 degrees at 8:00 am and hit 61 degrees at 2:30 pm. I didn't see any bedding activity at all.
