Reports from Coventry Lake was calling for safe ice but as of this past Saturday Morning not all of the Ice was safe. 3-4 at the coves and I broke though the ice walking out to the point. 1-2 inches of ice. All of the ice is black ice. Still a little to scary for me luckily I just got a foot wet when I broke through and was able to get to safe ice quickly. The ice thickness at Coventry changes quickly so if you go be careful. Not all of Coventry is safe yet.
