A little of everything. Rapala DT's, Storm Wiggle Warts, Mann's 1-minus, Norman's, Fat Free Shads. I don't know that I caught a keeper bass on a crankbait this year . . . that has to change next year.

Best of the lower priced variety would be Normans, Wiggle Warts and Bandits. I still have a few Rapala's as well. Those brands will cover most of the water column. For lower-priced Lipless Cranks I like the old standby RatlTrap.

For open water stuff I love Lucky Craft. I think in a general local tournament they give me an edge, because most people don't through them so they are a new look, run true right out of the box, etc. Although I still can't bring myself to throw one into a potentially precarious place. Loosing a $15 lure would make me very unhappy and take away from that positive fishing experience I so treasure. Very Happy

Ouch!

My sympathies! I resolve NEVER to throw them when I know Pike are around unless I'm in the hunt for the $$$ in a tourney.

Lost my first and last LC to a pike. It sat in my tacklebag for 2 years, too afraid to use it. First time I finally tried it... munch munch. gone. Mad
Good example that they work well. Always have two in my box for those times.Jointed Rapalas are my other cold water choice.
