[i was up there a few days back and we had a good 7 to 8 inches of is there. got one salmon, the biggest smally i ever seen and some large mouth bass. i didn"t land the smally but i did get to see him at the hole for a while before he pinked off. i was waiting for my brother to get back from doing a fifty yard dash to catch our shelter.but the fish got off before he realized what was goug on. i use an 8 inch auger and needed him to drill another hole because the smally wouldn:t fit through. any way there was some descent ice.[/b]

Bantam's got over 10 inches in South and North Cover I fished it hard all February Vacation. 6 pike between my buddy and I 4 were about 26 thru 29 and then one was 32 and another was about 23. Two monster bull head one was almost 3 pounds and then a nice largemouth bass almost pushing 4.5 pounds easy. All on pike shiners and meduim shiners.
