It is not illegal I swore I read it on here but, I guess not.

a DEEP officer explained similar to what Ct River Man aka PECO said

OK, after reading the definition of "BAIT" as stated by the DEEP I would now agree an umbrella rig would be legal. I was assuming that artificial lures would also count as a baited hook on these rigs but I guess not. Works for me!

wouldnt want to be fishing behind a guy in a boat throwing that thing around chuck!!!!! it just looks dangerous.LOL

Yep, you could use 2 poles with 1 of those rigs on both poles. Id love to see someone man both of those at the same time though unless your trolling! LOL
