				| yes i know it sounds silly, but i love using chunked dace for bait, anyone know where there is an abundance of moderate to large dace, i have caught everything from pike, to striper to cats on them |

				The Quinnipiac  River above "Red Bridge" is loaded with them also, just throw out a crawler or garden worm and there you have it.

				"Red Bridge" is at the very beginning of Hanover Pond in Meriden.
 
 Any spot where the river slows up & in large pools.
 
 
In Middletown I have no idea, maybe the Sebethe River or Coginchaug River as well?
