Finally found the Shimano Sienna 2500FD at Cabelas yesterday. They had a TON of them in stock so I was happy. Now I need to decide what kind of line I want to put on it. I'm most likely going to go with 8 pound test but I'm tempted to put on 10.

I like the Stren Flourocast myself for trout. Im assuming since you didnt pm me the other day you didnt go right? For bass Id go with braid and I prefer Power Pro.

For trout and panfish with that setup, I'd go with 6 pound line. Bass, walleye, pickerel, catfish, etc would be 8 or 10.

I'm a mono person and prefer the stronger healthier monos that don't snap easily and hardly get tangled. Berkley Heavy Duty, Rapala Tough, and a few Suffix would be the ones.

I'm using this pole for bass. Thanks for the line suggestions. I'll check them out.
