Old Mud the anwser to that is 5. X equals 5. Haha 3x3=9 4x4=16. 16+9=25 take the square root of 25 and its 5 which equals x. Sometimes I do the calculations for weight out of the DEP book. You measure the length and the biggest girth then you mutliply that and divide it by whatever the number is for a specefic species thats listed in the book. Its pretty accurate.

might be my engineer humor...

Bluegill if youre interested....
Uses a few physics properties....
1. Conservation of energy, PEi + KEi = PE2 + KE2 (kinetic energy found by (1/2)*m*V^2 and Potential enerygy = mgh)
2. Work by a spring F= -kx
3. Gravity, 9.81 m/s^2

So...
Solve for max the speed of the block at the end of the ramp by using the conservation of energy. Then use the speed of the speed and force at which it hits the spring. Using f= -kx, you can find x, the amount of deflection in the spring.
(note: this is a frictionless surface)

You are now ready for Physics II

I am actually taking a class at Tunxis which is teaching me that right now. Electrical Motors and Power Systems. I never took Physics just Chemistry and I wish I took Physics instead, but this class is pretty slow so I have time to study it and catch up. Want to work for Northeast Utilities some day as a lineman.

I wish NU would have taken their eye sore as a building with them when the GTFO. Good company to work for though.
