OK,Whos in, I want to have a tourny(small) on the first lake that thaws, we could either have boats or make it interesting and everybody fish from shore, depending on lake or pond, if boats are involve lets do 20 dollars a boat winner take all or if its a land tourny will do 5 dollars and winner take all, what ya think? Or we could fish for braggin rights.Size of lake does not matter. It could even be at Mill pond in Newington, what ya think Gary. Laughing

Personally I think Mill pond sucks for fishing, and they stock it with trout for a kids derby in April, so we would have to fish it in March for sure for that reason. I would rather fish somewhere that has some decent fish in it. I would rather do it from a boat as well, my days of shore fishing are pretty much over, I guess I'm spoiled. As always it will depend on the date, as our calendar has already started to fill up over the next couple of months with family and work crap on weekends. But I'm game..........P dog, what say you?

I dont know where you would find a shoreline that could support that but I would be in either way if the sheduling works out for me...having two jobs makes things difficult to find time sometimes...

Slimecoat, I was kidding on Mill pond. Chuck that could be good, but if i have this its going to be very small, and I dont know how many people will have their boats ready, Im almost favoring a lakeside tourny, I mean what would most guys like to do, I ounce held a boyscout tourny on Paderewski in Plainville I had 18 kids, I will have my boat ready, I dont care I just want to get the ball rolling and do a few opens on this sight Laughing

I can tell you haven't fished there in a while. Average bag winning there is around 17-18lbs for 5 fish. It's turned on the past few years. Mr. Green

Still think that day was a fluke chuck. 12lbs is a great limit for there.
