i caught a striper like that too wasn't a keeper but was really weird looking.

I wasn't going to say anything, but I think you were right that it was a largemouth bass, Wade. It's more likely that it was a largemouth bass with weird fins and coloration than it was a meth smoking walleye with no teeth. Wink

Im up for either 1 now, really could go to either a walleye with no teeth and wrong color or a Bass with dble back fin. Either way it was awesome to see on the other end of my line.

This must be the time of year for weird stuff. I was test casting a new rod last year around this time and got a 7 lb salmon swimming a Super Strike popper.

Nice toothless walleye! The hand/mouth size ratio is not close to what it would be on a 6lb. largemouth. Plus, it was caught at night in cold temps! What more proof do you need?
