Last night, Dick's presented me with an ethical dilemma by placing a display of heavily discounted baitcast combos right near the entrance. I'm pretty sure this is called "entrapment." I bought 4 of them. Anyway...just a heads up...I may not be alive for the ice out tourney once my husband sees the Discover card statement.

They're the same ones I already have, so there shouldn't be any surprises. I use my pink-reeled 6'3" Pflueger Lady Endeavor more than anything, so I grabbed the last 3 without much hesitation. No backlash issues with 50lb braid. The other is a 6'6" Quantum...same as I've been using except the new one has RH retrieve...it would have been nice to find 2 LH & 2 RH, but I guess not everyone goes both ways. Razz

Kira- the DIcks on the Berlin Turnpike?? Because I was presented with the same situation and ended up getting a 6'10" one piece Quantum Code rod and spin reel combo for only 35 bucks, normally 120!!! I couldn't help myself. I also got a nice field and stream fishing bag with four plano type boxes dirt cheap. Thank you Dicks.

Yup, that's the one...ridiculous right? It almost felt like shoplifting. What are you all driving that you can fit these crazy long one piece rods in your vehicles? 6'6" is the max I can fit in my truck bed diagonally without removing the tonneau.

Sold both of mine 2010. but am looking for one for spring. But not a bass boat fan... would rather get. a actioncraft flats boat than bass boat only cause its sound worthy... just my opinion... which is kinda same boat will i be using this year for tournaments...
