Hi,

You do know that Woodridge Lake is totally private and No public fishing allowed.

You must be a resident of Woodridge Lake or get permission (with written note) from a resident to fish there.

They also have their own regulations there concerning any and all fishing !

The residents are highly motivated to keep outsiders off the lake and won't hesitate to call the police !
I know this for a confirmed fact as I have a friend who lives there !

Hi,

Then your good to go !
That's one lake I do enjoy fishing as it's the only lake in Ct. that has Muskies -> and Big ones too ! Shocked
Nice to have friends or family that live there ! Thumbs Up Very Happy

As for present ice conditions -> I have no idea, as I have to stay close to home because my wife is hospitalized with pneumonia !

There is plenty of ice and you need to be with the land owner and they have to be an adult I highly doubt you can fish with your cuz without your aunt or uncle Out there with you

Wow striper give it a break. IT'S A LAKE, if you can't share WATER, then there is no hope for you.

Trout you can just have your aunt make sure she can pick up a phone call if this joker actually calls the law, which I highly doubt he will. And if Seadog says you only need a note, then you probably only need a note.

I know 3 people that live there and one is on the board for the lake they enforce the rules a call will do nothing if he is out there with out his aunt he will be asked to leave and if we call the board member he will call the cops people that try to use a loophole to fish the lake really gets under there skin it's private for a reason I'm not trying to bash anyone I'm just trying to save him a trespassing ticket go somewhere else thats public and save yourself the trouble and FYI Nate if you don't know what your are talking about don't say anything

Hi,

My friend gives me, each time I go there, a dated note with his address and signiture and "THAT" has never been questioned by the lake association Exclamation
This makes me a legaly invited guest !
If their policy has changed -> I'm have not been made aware of it.

Seadog the rule is a guest has to be with a land owner at all times on the lake your buddy can lose his right to use the lake doing that for you and the land owner can have up to 6 guests fishing with him this has been the rule for the 4 years my best friend has lived there
